AI Agent & Automation Engineer — LLM, MCP, Python + Game Dev
Need an AI agent that actually does the work? I build LLM agents, MCP servers, and automations that move data, hit APIs, and keep running unattended. A lot of people can wire up a chatbot — building the actual infrastructure underneath is a different thing. New to consulting, not new to building. US-based, Bellingham WA.
This is my own development infrastructure: an MCP plugin toolchain with enforcement hooks and multi-agent pipelines. A hook is an absolute — it runs no matter what, unlike a prompt or reminder a model can talk itself out of. Work gets split across specialized agents and verified behind gates: research, then build, then review, each gated before the next starts. It's not a client project — it's the tooling I build client work with, and it's the difference between an agent you demo and an agent you trust to run unattended.
Capability — AI × your software
Control the software you already run, in plain language.
An MCP server plus a local API that let an AI read and change a live, running application by natural-language command. I built it against a closed, undocumented app with no source, so the bridge had to marshal every call onto the host's main thread — the remote-control layer never destabilizes the program it's driving. The point: you can talk to your existing system and its data through plain-language chat, instead of paying to build a whole new UI on top of it.
Capability — reverse-engineering
Make a closed system do what you need.
Recovering exactly how an undocumented or closed binary behaves — decompiling it to a written spec with cited, file-and-line evidence and a confidence grade on each claim — then hooking and extending it at runtime through bytecode patching. That's how software with no API and no source becomes programmable. For you it means you can integrate with, automate, or extend a vendor system that everyone told you "can't be changed."
Capability — real-time & offline-first
Apps that sync live — even with no cloud in the middle.
A zero-dependency real-time app with peer-to-peer sync over a private mesh — no hub, no vendor between the nodes — plus an edge-deployed version with live push, presence, authentication, and idempotent replay so a message is never lost or double-applied. It proves I can build the hard parts of live software without leaning on a big platform to hold the state. That's what live dashboards, chat, and collaborative or local-first tools are made of, and they keep working when the cloud doesn't.
AI document-search
Ask a document set a question. Get an answer with sources.
An LLM agent that answers plain-English questions over a document set — with citations pointing back to the source, and a clean "I don't know" when the documents don't contain the answer. It cannot fabricate. The same app is deployed as two live instances over two different document collections. Try it right now.
A community history collection — decades of digitized newspapers and records nobody could realistically search. Ask it "When did the shingle mill close?" and it answers in plain English, cites the source document, and refuses to guess when the collection can't answer. Two live instances run the same app over two different document collections.
These are working concept demonstrations built on publicly available material — not shipped client engagements. That's deliberate: you can try the real thing before we ever talk.
Services
What I build
The agent and automation work above is where I lead. But most jobs are simpler than that, and I'm glad to do them. The everyday builds: not flashy, just done right and handed off clean.
Websites & landing pages
Clean, fast, mobile-friendly sites for small orgs and businesses. This page is an example.
Small web apps & tools
Booking forms, calculators, internal tools, simple portals — the thing you keep doing by hand.
Dashboards & data views
Turn a spreadsheet or an API into something your team can actually read at a glance.
AI woven into what you already use
Document search, drafting, summarizing — added to the tools and workflows you already have.
Automation & integrations
Connect the tools you use so data moves on its own, without the copy-paste.
Interactive & real-time graphics
Real-time visuals, game-style interfaces, shaders, and 60fps interactive experiences when a project calls for something beyond a static page.
Process
How I work
Scope first. I ask the questions before I write the code, so we're building the right thing.
Plan before you spend a dollar. You see the approach and what it costs before anything gets built.
Clean handoff. Docs and SOPs included — you own it and can run it without me.
Small first job, over-delivered. New to consulting, not new to building. Start me small and judge the result.

Have a workflow that should run itself, an API that needs babysitting, or a document set you wish you could just ask?
Email is best — tell me what you're trying to do in a sentence or two. US-based, available 30+ hrs/week.
